Christ {first}

Hi!  With each post, I often think… this is the post or story in which I lose everybody.  So thank you for sticking around.

I’m here to warn ANYone who has “ears to hear” that vaccines are a tool in the devil’s tool belt (they ARE – as well as: 5 g, fluoride, etc). There IS an agenda, on all sides. BUT, I’m living one degree off if I share the darkness and miss sharing the gospel of salvation and hope in Christ. I’m about that message, too!  He is THE truth (John 14:6). Unless we’ve accepted Him, we lose everything, our very souls, at the end of this crazy little thing called life.

We need discernment, now more than ever, within the body of Christ. Our enemy is sneaky, a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). I cry out, “Lord, heal our land!” He replies, “if my people, who are called by my name, will HUMBLE themselves and PRAY and SEEK my face and TURN from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Yes, it gets crazy in there sometimes. People can be people. I’m not sharing for pity, simply a display of our collective need to fall on our knees before the ONLY Savior in this big picture. Opinions are all over the place. Be wise as serpents, innocent as doves (Matt. 10:16). Stay alert, and of sober mind, my friends. Be encouraged! The Lion of the tribe of Judah HAS conquered (Revelations 5). Christ first. ALL else, second. Praying…

The honor that we rightly owe our earthly governors and magistrates (Romans 13:7) does not include compliance when such officials attempt to subvert sound doctrine, corrupt biblical morality, exercise ecclesiastical authority, or supplant Christ as head of the church in any other way.

When officials prohibit singing in worship services, they attempt to impose a restriction that in principle makes it impossible for the people of God to obey the commands of Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16. Push Away

There is a time to push away from a conversation when it’s clear the seed planted will not take root.

We lost close friends over this vax topic. Their unexpected response upon learning of our views was not loving. I am not confrontational, so my response left me in quiet tears as they fired accusations. They were not open to anything we had to say.

Why can’t people be mad at the lies and not the people shining a light on the deception? Cognitive dissonance is rough on the receiving end. Sigh…

Afterwards, I wanted to call and defend myself, but I was reminded that it’s best to hush in the hurt. Scripture repeats “those who have ears to hear, listen...” Everyone is NOT ready.

The Lord kept bringing me back… “For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself. Out of that experience, this account was born. Hearing our pro-life, Christian friends say, “I don’t care! They were going to be aborted anyway!” when my husband tried to let them know there were aborted fetal cells in vaccines [ they were NOT going to be aborted anyway]. This experience revealed just how deep the deception runs within the body of Christ. In some ways, that experience prepared me for the hate messages I now get online: baby killer, racist, white Bible thumper, uneducated…

Content on this account, which contradicts a lifelong belief, can stir emotion before a word is ever exchanged. Before engaging with someone, I ask myself if I’m spiritually ready to respond. I don’t always get it right, but I’m learning to push away from toxic conversations. Plant the seed and let God do the rest… ?? ?? ???????? ?? ??? ???????.

the {silent} work

Nobody is gonna see you read that book, say that prayer, or send those texts to check on your friends. Nobody is gonna see the money you donate, the hard conversations you dig into, or the research you do.
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Nobody is gonna see you teach your kids, stop hateful dialogue, or quietly build bridges. Nobody is gonna see you check your own heart and clean out the junk BUT DO IT ANYWAY.

People don’t always need to see you plant the seed, they just need to see the good fruit it produces.

Just a little encouragement to do the silent work. It’s usually the best work.

This rings true in sharing the gospel and with advocacy. Every seed planted will not take root… some people are just NOT ready to hear.

“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” Mark 4:9

But we are tilling the ground, cultivating the next step in seed planting – possibly making it a tad easier for the next seed planter.

Many speak from a deceitful heart (Jeremiah 17:9) ??????? ??? ???? ?? ?????? (1 Corinthians 2:16). Ouch. I try, but I don’t always get it right, either. I just dust myself off and keep pressing towards the mark (Philippines 3:14). This isn’t to imply that we shouldn’t call out injustices. On the contrary! ????? ?? ??? ?? ????? ??? ????? ?? ????, ????? ?? ???? ?? ?????!

Responding in the flesh requires digging deep in HIS nourishing words, encouraging us to speak life and give grace… because, as children of God, ??? ????????? to current events, and each other, ?????? ???? ?????????.

I could ramble about the pLandemic I believe ALL OF 2020 to be (and I may do that – because WE ARE BEING DECEIVED, even on the topic of Mr. Floyd). It’s safe to say, I don’t agree with, nor do I believe in, the current narrative playing out. BELIEVE ME, at this point in my journey, I want to grab the world by its collective shoulders and scream “WAKE THE HELL UP!”  But ??? ???? ???? ???????? ????? ??? ????? ????? ?? ? ???????. His still small voice (1 Kings 19:12). Sigh… I’m trying.

My heart hung heavy yesterday as demonic spirits purposefully orchestrated evil intent for our nation. For me, posting anything other than ???? felt irreverent. I pray that heaviness lingers in our spirits, motivating us to press through the noise of the crowd to touch the hem of His garment for our hurting nation.

I am praying for:

Our ??????? – we are instructed to pray for them. (I Timothy 2). Our ????????? – living under a dividing spirit of confusion and fear, which is NOT from God (1 Corinthians 14:33). Our ???????? – growing up in a world which lacks discernment deciphering current events.
Our ???????? – a renewed hunger for relationship with Christ, a desire to hear HIS voice among the crowd, and wisdom in leadership.

Our ??????? & ?????? – that they would have scars healed, scales removed from their eyes, and a receptive spirit – willing to unlearn and relearn.
