Thimerosal was removed from 3 childhood vaccines in 2003: however, that same year, the CDC mandated flu vaccines for pregnant women and children. Almost all flu vaxs contained mega doses of Thimerosal. Children who were receiving vaccines after 2003 would get as much Thimerosal as children prior to the removal in 2003 from those other 3 vaccines.
Children were getting Thimerosal at a much more vulnerable period of their lives. It’s kind of a myth to say that Thimerosal was removed from vaccines. It was removed from SOME vaccines, but it was added to others. – RFK Jr.

When talking to The American Academy of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Toni Bark asked, “Do your scientists have data that the manufacturer of Thimerosal doesn’t have because here’s a skull and crossbones (on the bottle) and here’s your Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)?” They ended the call with… Thank you. They put it in multi-dose vials; if you have to put 10 needles into the same vial, it’s cheaper to produce — when they do that, they put the mercury in as an antimicrobial agent. It saves about $0.15 per dose. – Dr. Neil Miller

Did you know that the amount of mercury in the flu vaccine is so high that the South Dakota Department of Environment & Natural Resources requires any unused flu vaccines to be discarded as HAZARDOUS waste? This is true even for the so-called “thimerosal-free” flu shots, which still contain mercury at unsafe levels.
The term preservative- or thimerosal-free can be utilized if the manufacturer further purified the product, leaving only trace amounts (less than or equal to 1 microgram/0.5 mL) per dose. Even at this level, calculations indicate mercury would exceed the TCLP standard; therefore these vaccines, if deemed unusable, should be managed as hazardous waste as well.
